PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate waste of a write-once/read-many type medium. PSOLUTION: This digital camera system 100 is provided with an optical system 101 configured to form optical images on an image sensor. The image sensor is configured to provide the digital image expressions of the optical images to an intermediate memory 106. The intermediate memory is configured to store the digital images, and a display 107 provides the visual display of the selected digital images stored in the intermediate memory.
