PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the connection of conventional segmented winding that there is a very large potential difference between the reverse and normal phase coils inserted into the same slot.;SOLUTION: In a segmented wound motor with the number of pole pairs of 8, the phase difference between the end of reverse phase winding and the start of normal phase winding is controlled to a value equivalent to 80°± equivalence to one magnetic pole, in terms of the mechanical angle.
