PURPOSE: To improve a method for producing ascorbic acid 2-phosphate magnesium salt in which the precipitation and deposition are readily caused with an alcohol such as ethanol and the use thereof in a cosmetic has been a problem. ;CONSTITUTION: This method for producing ascorbic acid 2-phosphate magnesium salt hardly causing the precipitation and deposition in a cosmetic is to spray-dry an aqueous solution of the ascorbic acid 2-phosphate magnesium salt. Furthermore, this cosmetic contains the salt. Since the resultant ascorbic acid 2-phosphate magnesium salt is hardly precipitated and deposited with alcohols, it is used as the cosmetic, etc., and further as a medicine, a food additive and a feed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
