PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating lead shots of a firing range capable of recovering only the lead shots and transporting the lead shots to a prescribed place without requiring large-scale machines and apparatus by satisfying the requirements demanded in mountain areas and to provide an apparatus for treating the lead shots.;SOLUTION: The method 1 for treating the lead shots of the firing range and the apparatus 2 for treating the lead shots comprise mining top soil 3 containing the lead shots of the firing range, forming lead shot-containing collections through a plurality of times of classification, then feeding the lead shot-containing collections onto a first sliding plate 14 having a prescribed angle of inclination and allowing the collections to fly over onto a second sliding plate 15 arranged through a prescribed spacing 16 from the first sliding plate 14 thereby separating and recovering the lead shots from the collections. The need for the large-scale machines and apparatus in the mountain areas where driving power sources do not exist is eliminated to leave the collections except of the lead shots on the site, by which only the recovered lead shots are transported to the prescribed place while the difficulty in the transportation is eliminated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
