PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize and quicken a stocktaking work by applying functions of an electronic computer to the stocktaking of inventory items at a business place of an enterprise.;SOLUTION: Various stages for issuing stocktaking seals having serial numbers, item data and bar code display based on inventory data of the items, for sticking the issued stocktaking seals to each of the inventory items, detecting the excess stocktaking seals without being stuck to the items and for reading bar codes for the detected stocktaking seals are performed in the case of the stocktaking work and an stocktaking document including stocktaking slips, stocktaking details and the total of stocktaking amount is outputted by an arithmetic processing of the electronic computer based on reading results of the bar codes of the excess stocktaking seals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
