PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor belt made of a synthetic resin material possessing magnetism and a belt conveyor device composed of the conveyor belt and a metal detector, which can easily detect fragments or the like by passing objects to be conveyed through the metal detector even if the conveyor belt is partly broken for some cause and the fragments or the like are mixed in the objects to be conveyed as foreign matter.;SOLUTION: This conveyor belt 2 is partly or wholly made of the synthetic resin material possessing magnetism produced by blending magnetic powder with the synthetic resin or synthetic resin material possessing magnetism produced by blending magnetic powder with the synthetic resin and stainless steel possessing magnetism. Thus, the metal detector 4 installed behind the belt can detect the fragments of the belt or the like even if the fragments of the belt are mixed in the objects to be conveyed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
