PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively solve a problem of a lost article in the lent articles such as an linen article. SOLUTION: This method (system) comprises a process for storing label information of the lent article while correlated to identification information for specifying a customer to conduct lending registration, in a lending and returning front, a process for providing a return point for detecting approach of an electronic identification label to open and close a lid automatically, in a locker room, and for conducting returning registration of the lent article based on the label information of the lent article returned to the return point, a process for conducting the return registration based on the label information of the lent article when the customer returns the lent article in check-out, and a process for judging whether all the articles lent to the customer are returned or not based on the label information concerned in the identification information stored already and based on each return registration content in the check-out, and for notifying the customer of the judgement when unreturned article exists.
