PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for producing a waste edible oil as an alternate fuel for light oil, by which liquids separated into two layers by the difference of specific gravities can be discharged so that two kinds of liquids are not mixed and a foreign matter is not mixed in the liquids.;SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with main tanks Th1, Tt1 and Ts1 for mixing liquids and recovery tanks Th2, Tt2 and Ts2 positioned at the lower part of the main tanks and connected to the main tanks by connecting piping Cr1, Cr2 and Cr3, and the connecting piping is equipped with opening and closing means B1a, B2a and B3a. The liquids are mixed in main tanks and then, after opening the opening and closing means B1a, B2a and B3a, the liquids are allowed to stand to separate the liquids and after separation of the liquids, the opening and closing means B1a, B2a and B3a are closed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
