SLEEPER MADE OF CONCRETE AND FASTENING STRUCTURE FOR GUARD RAIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeper made of concrete in which a guard rail can be fastened at an arbitrary position.;SOLUTION: A shape steel 10 is buried between parts where main rails R1 of the sleeper 1 made of concrete are arranged. The shape steel 10 is a long member substantially C-shaped in section. The opened part of the shape steel is opened on the upper surface of the sleeper and arranged in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the sleeper. A fastening device 20 has a substantially T-shaped anchor bolt. The anchor bolt is inserted into the shape steel 10 so as to be movable in a transverse direction. The shape steel 10 can be fixed at an arbitrary position by fastening the anchor bolt by a nut at an arbitrary position guard rails R2 are arranged with a gauge gradually reduced inside the main rails R1. While the guard rails R2 are mounted on the arbitrary positions of the sleeper 1 made of concrete, the guard rails R2 can be fastened by the fastening devices 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
