PURPOSE: To adjust length of an arm in a mounting structure for mounting an arm, to which a traffic volume monitoring sensor and the like is installed above a road, to a supporting column. ;CONSTITUTION: In a telescopic arm mounting structure in which a telescopic arm 2 is installed perpendicularly to a supporting column 1 while held by means of a hanging member 3 connected to the supporting column 1, the arm 2 is constructed of an outer pipe 2A and an inner pipe 2B, and the length of the arm 2 is adjusted by pulling out the inner pipe 2B. A circular wedge 10 is inserted between the end part of the outer pipe 2A and the inner pipe 2B so as to fix positions of both pipes 2A, 2B. In addition, the hanging member 3 consisting of a standard length part, which is used without respect to the length of the arm 2, and a supplementary part, which is connected to the standard length part, and is selectively used according to the length of the arm 2, is formed into a divided type.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
