TERMINAL PROCESSING STRUCTURE IN MULTI-CORE CABLE AND CABLE ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide terminal processing structure for a cable and cable assembly for reducing damage on a signal line by longitudinal direction force generated when performing a terminal processing and when attaching/detaching a connector to/from an equipment main body.;SOLUTION: In this terminal processing structure for the cable, internal and external annular pressing tools 15 and 17 are provided in the vicinities of ends of outer covers 7 in a terminal part of the cable provided with the outer covers 7 made of shield layers 6 and insulating materials on outer peripheries of a plurality of signal line 8 groups provided with insulating coating, and the shield layer 6 and the outer cover 7 are held or either one of them is held by the pressing tool 15 located at the inside and the pressing tool 17 located at the outside. This cable assembly is electrically connected from the shield layer 6 to the connector 11 by mounting the terminal processing part for the cable having the constitution on the connector 11 provided with a storing part 13 for the pressing tool 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
