SUPERCHARGER WITH FEED/DISCHARGE BYPASS PASSAGE

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo supercharger with a feed/discharge bypass passage of simple construction, with reduced pressure loss and preventing the back-flow of exhaust gas. PSOLUTION: A first opening (10) is provided in the vicinity of the air supply outlet (4a) of a compressor cover (4), and a second opening (11) is provided in a turbine housing (5) at an almost opposite position to the first opening (10). A check valve (20) is fitted in the first opening (10), and a first joint covering it is fitted removably. The base end part of the feed/discharge bypass passage (14) is fitted in the second opening (11) removably. The head part of the passage (14) is slidably inserted in a second joint (13) fitted in the first joint (12), and an O ring (15) is provided in the insertion part of the head part and the second joint (13), thereby constituting a thermal expansion absorbing means.
