PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for burning calcinated powder and/or synthetic powder to produce an oxide superconductor or an oxide superconductive wiring material having high critical current density.;SOLUTION: A silver substrate or substrate covered with a silver foil is used as a burning jig in a burning process to prepare the calcinated powder and/or the synthetic powder to produce the oxide superconductor. The penetration of a structural element of a usual burning jig made of aluminum oxide into the powder as an impurity by thermal diffusion is prevented and in addition an atomic silver is homogeneously dispersed in the powder. As the result, the oxide superconductor the oxide superconductor wiring material having high critical current density are prepared.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
