PURPOSE: To obtain a measuring method and a measuring jig capable of measuring easily and precisely the deviation between an optical axis and a magnetic flux axis in a magneto-optical head. ;CONSTITUTION: A laser beam outgoing from an optical head 21 is led to an observation point 35 by using mirrors 32, 33, and further, the center image of a magnetic head 11 is led to the observation point 36 by using the mirrors 32, 34. Reference points R in the state that the optical axis and the magnetic flux axis coincide on the observation points 35, 36 previously. Then, the deviation states of the optical axis JL in the optical head and the magnetic flux axis JM in the magnetic head are measured by observing a positional state for the reference point R in the observation point 35 of a laser spot SP and the positional state for the reference point R in the observation point 36 of the center image MC.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
