PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firstly provide a stabilizer for photosensitive materials which hardly gives rise to contamination of base surfaces even when processing with a low replenishing is performed and a method of processing the photosensitive materials using the same, and to secondly provide a stabilizer for the photosensitive materials which lessens sticking to rollers and processing tanks and a method of processing the photosensitive materials using the same.;SOLUTION: The stabilizer for silver halide color photographic sensitive materials is characterized in that it contains the compound expressed by general formula (1), in which the contact angle with the photosensitive materials is ≤60 to ≥20°. General formula (1) R₁O(A₁O)_n1R₂ (where R₁ and R₂ respectively denote saturated or unsaturated (substituted) 1-4C alkyl groups; A₁ denotes a (substituted) 2 or 3C alkylene group; and n1 denotes an integer from 1 to 10).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
