PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency variation measuring instrument which eliminates the need for a thermostatic chamber for stabilizing the frequency output of a reference clock oscillator. ;SOLUTION: This instrument comprises a frequency-dividing means 23 which divides the frequency of a measured signal 21 and outputs a frequency-divided signal 22, a 1st count means 25 which counts this frequency-divided signal 23 to calculate the frequency-division frequency 24, a frequency-division frequency transmitting means 26 which transmits the frequency-division frequency 24 in synchronism with the frequency-divided signal 22, a frequency-division frequency receiving means which receives the frequency-division frequency 24a from the frequency-division frequency transmitting means 26, a 2nd count means 37 which counts the frequency output of the reference clock oscillator 34 synchronized with a time clocking device 32 which clocks the standard time, a latch means 38 which latches the count value of the frequency output of the reference clock oscillator 34 according to the signal synchronized with the frequency- division frequency 24a, and an arithmetic processing means 39 which finds frequency variation according to the count value 36 and frequency-division frequency 24a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
