PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a cover body whereby falling from the manhole opening part can be prevented securely with higher reliability. SOLUTION: Rectangular net-shaped or sheet-shaped knitted cloth 28 which are arranged extensively on the covering part of a cover body 12 on a manhole opening part are formed are provided with stress distribution members 30 and 30 being formed in longitudinal bar or plate shape and opposed to each other and capable of distribute stresses against an external load in longitudinal direction at least one set of side edge parts of the knitted cloth 28. By positioning the stress distribution members 30 and 30 extendedly along the inside part of a receiving frame 14, and connecting these stress distribution members 30, 30 and the inside part of the receiving frame 14 detachably with multiple connecting members 34 the knitted cloth 28 can be installed detachably to the inside part of the receiving frame 14.
