PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To define a shape without a drop-off in operation efficiency defining a shape of a structure and with flexibility even if there is a request for defining shapes of an underground structure and the like deviating from predefined shapes extensively. SOLUTION: A method for defining shape of structure comprising steps of storing in advance information on parts related to parts (, ) composing of the structure in a virtual space implemented by a computer to select information on desired parts (, ) among the stored information on parts (, ) (step S1), setting dimensions (1, 2, 3, 1, 2) of desired portions of the parts (, ) (step S2), specifying joint faces of each part (, ) (step S4), jointing the parts (, ) mutually (step S5) and determining finally thickness of walls of the parts (, ) (step S6).
