PRODUCT REPAIR RECEPTION AND REPAIRED PRODUCT ACCEPTANCE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a product repair reception and repaired product acceptance system that achieves a product repair reception and acceptance system that simply distinguishes a product in need of repair and conveniently sends the product for repair and receives it. ;SOLUTION: A user 101, prior to sending the product for repair, calls, from a user terminal 102, a repair shop terminal 104 on the phone to explain the circumstances of the product, and, if repair is needed, acquires a receipt number. Then, the user 101 carries the product to a convenience store 105. A courier 107 collects it and distributes it to the repair shop 103. When the repair is finished, the courier 107 distributes it to the convenience store 105, and notifies the user 101 by electronic mail. The user 101 receives the product at the convenience store 105 to pay the fare. The user also can specify, from the user terminal 102, the receipt number to inquire of the repair progress of the product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
