PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently and economically assembling a wood rigid frame for construction in a limited site. ;SOLUTION: A self-supported temporary scaffold (a) is used in assembling a structural unit (b) constituting a rigid frame in beam-to-beam direction with a plurality of column members 1 and plural stories of beam members 2 connected therebetween. After one structural unit (b) is assembled and cross beam members 2a are connected between the structural units (b) neighboring each other in the direction of the cross beams, the temporary scaffold (a) is moved span by span in the direction of the cross beams. Such procedures are repeated to construct the framework of a rigid frame structure elongated in the direction of the cross beams. Joints between the column member 1 and each of the beam members 2, 2a are fixed through a reinforcement with adhesive, which become reinforced rigid joints.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
