PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which illegal use by copying information is made difficult in principle in collation (certification) conducted for judging if a regular digital ticket is provided or not.;SOLUTION: This certification system for tickets or the like is provided with a certification information providing server 40 to provide sale data following ticket sale achievement based on a request from a portable terminal 20, the portable terminal 20 to output the certification information (digital ticket) based on the sale data received from the certification information providing server 40 by conducting data communication with the certification information providing server 40, and a certification terminal 30 to read the certification information outputted to the portable terminal 20, and execute a certification process based on the read certification information.
