PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for entangling filaments to avoid filament loops caused by the release of the tightness of wefts. PSOLUTION: This method for entangling the wefts comprises holding the sections of the wefts delivered from a preliminary bobbin device in the nozzle pipes of air operation type main nozzles by a conventional method during at least the first and second weaving periods, treating the wefts with the first air flow of pressure level P1 to impart tensions to the wefts, and further treating the wefts with the second air flow of pressure level P2 for entanglement in a flow direction different from the flow direction of the first air flow during the above-described periods at the ends of the above-described sections to improve the tightness of the wefts.
