PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarized relay allowing easy adjustment of an electric characteristic such as a sensitivity characteristic.;SOLUTION: This polarized relay is provided with: a body block 4 composed of an electromagnet 8, a permanent magnet 9 and a yoke 10 for forming a magnetic path therefor; and an armature 5 comprising hinge parts 15, an iron core 14 and contact springs 16; and is so structured that the armature 5 is disposed on the body block 4, the hinge parts 15 are jointed to the body block 4 to rockingly support the armature 5, and the armature 5 is driven by exciting the electromagnet 8. In this case, a pair of parallel side pieces 15a and 15b of each nearly U-shaped or nearly reversed U-shaped hinge part 15 are so formed as to set one side longer and the other side shorter, the tip of the shorter side piece 15b is integrated with the base end of the contact spring 16 so as to be integrally connected, and thus the hinge part 15 and the contact spring 16 are integrated into a nearly U-shaped or nearly reversed U-shaped hinge spring body 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
