PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a gain switching function and to realize superior setting characteristics by suppressing change in setting characteristics due to difference in moving pitch, machining position, weight of materials, etc.;SOLUTION: In a positioning control device that performs position loop control and speed loop control on the feeding mechanism of a sheet metal working machine; provided is an H∞ controller 30 which is designed, as the position gain of a position loop, using a generalized plant based on the H∞ control theory, and controls effect of extraneous input on the controlled variable; and this H∞ controller 30 is also designed using the generalized plants 100, 200 including a speed loop.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
