OPERATION CONTROL METHOD AND OPERATION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR STACKER CRANE IN AUTOMATED STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL WAREHOUSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control method and operation control system for a stacker crane in an automated storage and retrieval warehouse that can solve troublesomeness of a manual operation of an operator and ensure safety of the operator when a load stowed in a vertically moving carriage of a stacker crane from a station has an anomalous load condition.;SOLUTION: The operation control method is for the stacker crane 20 in an automated storage and retrieval warehouse 1 that comprises the station 10, a storage rack 30 and the stacker crane 20 and uses the stacker crane 20 to carry a load W from the station 10 to the storage rack 30 and from the storage rack 30 to the station 10. When the load W placed on the station 10 is stowed in the stacker crane 20, if an anomalous load condition of the load W is detected, the load W is returned to the station 10, and then the stacker crane 20 is kept on standby in a safe position without interference in a load condition correcting operation on the load W and the like, wherein at least an automatic operation of the stacker crane 20 is stopped.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
