COATING MATERIAL, SMELT SPOUT AND METHOD FOR CORROSION PREVENTION OF DISCHARGE AREA OF SODA RECOVERY BOILER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the corrosion of an outside surface side, to additionally suppress the occurrence of cracking and to determine the components of a welding material adequate for the suppression thereof.;SOLUTION: The coating material is used for forming a coating layer 5 for coating a substrate 2 which is effectively cooled on its inside surface side. The mass% of the material is 0.06 to 0.13 C, 20 to 26 Cr, 0.3 to 1.0 Si, 0.8 to 1.2 Nb, ≤0.5 Ni. The Cr of the known coating layer is hitherto adequately 23 to 30 mass% but a decrease of mass% of the Cr is possible under the positive cooling environment. The range of mass% of the Cr is shifted to a side where the range is smaller than known mass%. The Cr is added in both points of corrosion resistance and the improvement of high-temperature strength. If the amount thereof is too much, toughness is deteriorated and if the amount is too little, the effect of the corrosion prevention is low. The mass% of the Cr can be made lower than 26% by cooling and as a result thereof, the deterioration in the toughness can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
