SILANE-MODIFIED OXIDE OR SILICATE FILLER, METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME AND RUBBER COMPOUND INCLUDING THE FILLER AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silane-modified oxide or silicate filler, a method of producing the same, a rubber compound including the filler and the use of the rubber compound. SOLUTION: In the silane-modified oxide or silicate filler, at least one of the oxide or silicate filler is modified with a mercaptosilane represented by general formula I: (R1 )3 Si-R2 -SH I (wherein substituents R1 s are identical or different and each an alkoxy or an alkyl where at least one of R1 is an alkoxy; and R2 is a divalent hydrocarbon group) and with an alkylsilane and/or a silicone oil represented by general formula II: (R1 )3 Si-R3 II (wherein R3 is a saturated or unsaturated branched or unbranched chain alkyl group). The silane- modified oxide or silicate salt filler shows the merits of the low viscosity, high elastic modulus and the improved dynamic properties to the in situ mixture.
