PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modeling method that can attain a high precision and a high reliability in simulating a coal-utilized HyPr-RING process, and in predicting and evaluating various phenomena occurring in a coal gasifier by a numerical fluid analysis, and to provide a simulation system incorporated with the modeling method. SOLUTION: In simulating the coal-utilized HyPr-RING process, the raw materials are coal, water, and a carbon dioxide absorber, and the gasification is performed in the gasifier under conditions of 600-700 deg.C and 10-25 MPa. The coal gasification is modeled by assuming that the component of the volatiles released from coal particles in the gasifier is a pseudo-component CHx Oy .
