PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect leakage of a bulkhead of multiple piping. PSOLUTION: High-pressure cooling water Wa flows in inside piping 1a of the multiple piping 1, and low-pressure cooling water Wb flows between the inside piping 1a and outside piping 1b. When Kr is added to the high-pressure cooling water Wa by an addition tube 11 in the case where a leakage part 2 exists in the inside piping (bulkhead) 1a, Kr is mixed into the low-pressure cooling water Wb through the leakage part 2. The low-pressure cooling water Wb is sampled by a sampling tube 12 and sent to a stripping tower 20. Kr gas separated by a gas-liquid separation action is mixed with He gas in the stripping tower 20. The He gas wherein the Kr gas is mixed is analyzed by a gas chromatography-mass spectrometer 44, and if Kr is detected, it is determined that the leakage part 2 exists. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
