PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for preventing generation of harmful gas caused by aluminum dross and deterioration in the quality of artificial zeolite when manufactured from the aluminum dross. PSOLUTION: An alkali aqueous solution is mixed into and reacted with the aluminum dross to simultaneously perform degassing treatment and aluminate ion generating reaction. An aqueous solution which contains the aluminate ion generated thereby is used as a sub raw material to manufacture artificial zeolite. Thereby, generation of harmful gas in a stage for forming artificial zeolite can be reduced and quality of formed artificial zeolite can be enhanced. Artificial zeolite forming reaction can be also simultaneously generated by using an aqueous solution of sodium orthosilicate which contains a silicate ion as the alkali aqueous solution in the stage for forming the aqueous solution which contains the aluminate ion.
