SOLUTION: This tracker is equipped with a photodetection device 71 for detecting the brightness change on the screen of a display of a TV monitor 9, a synchronizing signal detection circuit 81 for detecting a synchronizing signal based on a light signal detected by the photodetection device 71, and an integrator reset circuit 82 for resetting an integrator 3 for integrating the output of an angular velocity sensor 1 when the output of the synchronizing signal detection circuit 81 exists. In this tracker output error correction method, the output error is corrected by resetting the integrator 3 by applying the direction of the TV monitor 9 to a reference azimuth every time the photodetection device 71 is faced to the display of the TV monitor 9.
