PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of correcting base of SO₃ analyzer by which the base of absorbance spectra can be corrected accurately at the time of performing SO₃ analysis.;SOLUTION: In this method of correcting the base of absorbance spectra at the time of analyzing SO₃ contained in the exhaust gas of a flue, the absorbance spectra of the gas is obtained by changing the SO₃ concentration in the gas, and the spectra are corrected by fitting a base line so that the absorbance within the wavelength range of 230-260 nm in the obtained absorbance spectra may become zero. Then the analytical curve for the SO₃ is drawn up by performing multivariable analysis on the basis of the corrected absorbance spectra.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
