PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for readily and accurately measuring small intestine-type alkali phosphatase.;SOLUTION: This method for separating and determining the small intestine- type alkali phosphatase involves using a measured value of the alkali phosphatase obtained by using an alkali phosphatase-measuring reagent free from an inhibitor, and a measured value of the alkali phosphatase obtained by using an alkali phosphatase-measuring reagent containing the inhibitor inhibiting a liver-type alkali phosphatase and a bone-type alkali phosphatase in the nearly same ratio, and completely inhibiting the small intestine-type alkali phosphatase.
