SURFACE TREATMENT METHOD FOR CAME PORTION OF BEVELED GLASS AND BEVELED GLASS OBTAINED BY THIS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fracture of glass in a curing process step in a surface treatment method for the came portion of beveled glass.;SOLUTION: The surface treatment method for the came portion of the beveled glass comprises including (A) a step of pretreating the came portion of the beveled glass; (B) a step of coating the pretreated came portion of the beveled glass by electrodeposition with a coating material; and (C) a step of stepwise curing the came portion of the beveled glass. According to this method, the came portion is subjected to electrodeposition then to a stepwise curing process step, by which the problems during coating of the beveled glass composed of brass, glass and lead in collaboration can be solved while the light resistance, chemical resistance, durability, etc., are improved. The manufacturing of the beveled glass in which a fracture phenomenon occurs less is also possible.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
