PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt membrane waterproofing method capable of shortening a construction period, for a fire-resistant and heat-insulating roof floor, which is available in S-type waterproofing roof floor and carried out in a more precise and unitary manner in terms of process control, cost control, and quality control, as compared with conventional methods.;SOLUTION: The method dispenses with concrete placement and laying of floor plates, etc., and therefore hardly requires a curing period. In terms of processes of the method, work sequentially proceeds from deck plate laying to asphalt membrane waterproofing, and therefore drying and curing are not influenced by weather. In terms of costs, the load of asphalt on the roof floor is equal to or less than a half of the load of concrete slabs, ALC slabs, or the like, and therefore load applied to a steel frame body, etc. is reduced, leading to cost reduction. In terms of quality control, the method employs a membrane method which is the characteristics of asphalt membrane waterproofing, and as the entire building exhibits excellent movement, weatherability, durability, etc., a considerably long life can be expected in the structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
