METHOD FOR JOINING OR REPAIRING CRACK OR CLEARANCE IN SINGLE CRYSTAL PRODUCT MADE OF NICKEL BASED SUPER ALLOY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining or repairing a crack or a clearance in a single crystal product made of a nickel-based super alloy. ;SOLUTION: The crack or the clearance in the single crystal product is isothermally brazed under following conditions: temperature of isothermal solidification is between TL_iquidus, B_raze+5×(BB_raze mass %) and (T_solidus, _basematerial-70×(BB_raze mass %), at the same time (BB_raze mass % × CrB_raze mass %) is between 15 and 40 and (T_solv.γ', _basematerial-TL_iquidus, B_raze) is over 140°C. Thereby homogeneous γ/γ'-microstructure of a brazed joint which is isothermally solidified and has mechanical characteristics similar as that of nickel based super alloy material, is generated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
