PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converted gas generating apparatus which has a structure simplified by dispensing with a heating unit and is made inexpensive and economical.;SOLUTION: This converted gas generating apparatus 1 has a honeycombed catalyst 4 packed in a heat-resistant steel tube 3, a mixed feed gas supplying port 6 formed on one end of the tube 3 and a converted gas discharging port 11 formed on the other end of the tube 3. It is preferable that the port 11 is formed on the side opposite to the port 6 at a proper position of the tube 3 across the catalyst-packed portion and a sample gas taking-out port 9 is formed on the other end of the tube 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
