PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve connection operability of a portable instrument which has a USB male connector.;SOLUTION: The cradle device has a dome-like cradle device body 21 having a USB male connector insertion port 22 at the top; a USB female connector 30 vertically provided in the device body 21; a cable 40 extending to the outside of the device body 21; and a USB male connector plug 50 at a tip end of the cable 40. The USB male connector plug 50 is kept inserted to the USB female connector 11 of a computer body 10. By the method that a cellular phone is placed on a charger base, the portable instrument 100 is supported on the cradle device body 21 by connecting the USB male connector 101 to the USB female connector 30 through the USB male connector insertion port 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
