SOLUTION: In the remittance system provided with the information terminal equipment and the remittance repeater, the information terminal equipment accepts the input of remittance request information containing information on the account in the financial institution of a remittance destination and the amount of remittance at least, prepares the remittance request data of a prescribed data form while including the information on the account in the financial institution of the remittance source as well and transmits the remittance request information through a communication line to the remittance repeater and the remittance repeater can be connected through the prescribed communication line to the information processing systems for remittance processing in the financial institutions of the remittance destination and the remittance source, receives the remittance request data from the information terminal equipment, is connected through the communication line to the information processing system for remittance processing in the relevant remittance destination financial institution on the basis of the received remittance request data and requests the inquiry of the relevant account for confirming the remittance destination to this information processing system for remittance processing on the basis of the remittance request data.
