PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that considerable labor and time are required and analysis cannot be made by routine work since operation procedures are complicated in an existing micro protein electrophoretic analysis in a polymer porous film due to manipulation, and to provide an automatic micro protein electrophoretic apparatus that can automatically and simultaneously carry out a separation analysis due to micro protein electrophoretic in the polymer porous film to a number of specimens.;SOLUTION: When the apparatus is started up, a support is automatically wetted by a buffer liquid, a fixed amount of specimen is applied onto the support that is wetted by the buffer liquid, the spacemen that is applied onto the support migrates, a migration image on the support appearing due to migration is fixed, a protein-fixing liquid contained in the support is washed, the migration image on the washed support is subjected to silver staining techniques, the stained support is decolorized, silver is stuck to the migration image on the decolorized support, and the concentration of the migration image is measured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
