PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for transporting live fishes by which the fishes of a relatively long body such as a scabbard fish kept in a live state can be transported without causing a stress or damage thereto. ;SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 for transporting the live fishes is equipped with a live fish housing tank 2 provided with a plurality of live fish housing parts 2a having a wedgy shape when viewed in a plane and the opened top surface, an opening and closing lid 3 composed of a plurality of lid members 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d covering the top surface opening of the live fish housing tank 2, water feed ports 4 for feeding water from a broad part to a narrow part of the live fish housing parts 2a, a drain port 5 for discharging water in the live fish housing tank 2 and a water purifying means 6 for purifying water discharged from the drain port 5, enriching oxygen and feeding the resultant water to the water feed ports 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
