PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inventory management device capable of easily managing the storage places of a device and consumable articles to be used by the device without causing a mistake.;SOLUTION: A device type number is obtained (a step S402). A storage place list is obtained (a step S403). The storage place where consumable articles to be used by the device are stored is selected from the obtained storage place list (a step S404). The information of the type number and the storage place is registered (a step S405). The information of the consumable articles to be used by the device is obtained from the device consumable article corresponding list (a step S406). The consumable article information is associated with the storage place to prepare one consumable article storage information (a step S407). Whether or not the associated information is already present in the consumable article list (a step S408).
