PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the occurrence of a trouble such as deterioration in the quality characteristics of a thin strip so far generated in the thin strip after winding, cracking, or break of the thin strip by a simple means so as to enhance the yield of manufacturing and productivity of a single roll method. ;SOLUTION: In manufacturing a quick cooling solidification thin strip of an alloy which consists of Fe as a main component and a residual of at least one kind or two kinds or more of elements of Si, B, C, P and inevitable elements, when the cast thin strip is wound on the peripheral face of a cooling roll, the temperature of the thin strip immediately before the winding is made to be 250°C or below.
