PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for sorted recovery of a used plastic, and a method for preventing material clogging as well as a method for removing a clogged material from the device capable of quickly dealing with a sign of clogging when the sign of the clogging of lightweight plastic pieces is detected in a centrifugal gravity separator and dissolving the clogging (reopening) from the outside when the clogging actually occurs.;SOLUTION: A water supply pipe to supply water or a specific gravity liquid is connected to a slurry supply pipe to feed slurry to the centrifugal gravity separator. Water is supplied to the slurry supply pipe when the sign of clogging or the clogging is detected. Furthermore, a slurry return pipe to return the slurry to a slurry mixing tank is connected so that the slurry can be circulated without passing through the centrifugal gravity separator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
