PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently utilize coal ashes and desulfurization gypsum recovered from a flue gas generated in a coal-fueled thermal power generation plant. PSOLUTION: The invention provides a method for treating a flue gas generated in a coal-fueled thermal power generation plant and the method involves steps of producing a mixture by mixing coal ashes contained in the flue gas and desulfurization gypsum produced by flue gas desulfurization and producing a molded body by press-molding the mixture in approximately vacuum condition.
