QoS SERVICE SYSTEM AND QoS SERVICE SETTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize cooperation of various service by constructing a QoS (quality of service) service system which can provide a QoS service over different ISPs.;SOLUTION: An integrated QoS service device (10) for setting, managing, and controlling the QoS service of an entire network and a QoS service database (11) wherein information related to QoS services which respective partial networks can provide are registered are provided for the network constituted of a plurality of partial networks. When a QoS service is requested, the integrated QoS service device (10) performs route analysis and retrieves whether the requested QoS service is registered in the database (11) or not. When the requested QoS service is registered there, network controllers (8 and 9) of partial networks passing a communication route are instructed to provide the QoS service.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
