PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make uniform the temperature distribution in the circumferential direction of a radiant tube, while maintaining low-NOX combustion.;SOLUTION: The present regenerative type radiant tube burner comprises the radiant tube 1 and a pair of burner main bodies 2. The burner main body 2 has a passage 10 for air for combustion and combustion exhaust gas, a heat accumulator 13 provided in the passage 10, openings 11 communicating with the radiant tube 1 from the passage 10, functioning as a combustion air jet port in combustion and operating as combustion exhaust gas intake ports in heat accumulation and a fuel gas jet port 12. The fuel gas jet port 12 is provided at the axial position of the radiant tube 2. In the burner thus constituted, the openings 11 are provided in a plurality concentrically around the fuel gas jet port 12, and further a collision plate 16 facilitating diffusion of the combustion exhaust gas and the fuel gas is provided in front of the fuel gas jet port 12, spaced therefrom. In the collision plate 16, a first hole 16A conforming axially with the fuel gas jet port 12 and having a larger diameter than the fuel gas jet port 12 and second holes 16B conforming axially with the openings 11 and having diameters equal to or larger than ones of the openings 11 are formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
