PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-fitting driving device which can be simply incorporated in the existing human-powered driven wheelchair, and use the existing human-powered driven wheelchair as a motor-driven wheelchair enabling comfortable running. SOLUTION: This post-fitting driving device is provided with a frame 3 having a connecting mechanism 8 to a frame part 104 of the human-powered driven wheelchair 1, a driving mechanism 5 including wheels 4 disposed below the frame 3 and a motor 5a for driving the wheels, a direction control mechanism 6 including a swivel support shaft 10 and a steering handle 11 connected to a housing of the driving mechanism 5 and rotatably supported on the frame 3, and a control mechanism 7 including a power supply battery 12 to the driving mechanism 5.
