PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stress corrosion cracking test pieces which can shorten time required for stress corrosion cracking tests by permitting the loading of severe stresses while making it smaller in size.;SOLUTION: The stress corrosion cracking test pieces for alloy materials are provided with a plastically deforming part 12 and an elastically deforming part 15. The plastically deforming part 12 is substantially folded up to 180° to such extent that an end 13a the upper surface is tightly fit thereon, in plate member 1 cut out from test materials A and B and mirror-polished. The elastically deforming part 15 is formed by inserting a wedge 2 made of the same material as the plate member 1 into a narrow gap between the upper surface 13 and the end 13a thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
