PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of presetting a roll bending force optimally and highly precisely so that the shape of a coil after working is more correctly matched with the target shape right after starting rolling. ;SOLUTION: By adding the amount of change of 1st roll bending force for making an error generated by shape deviation to the target shape of a precedingly passed coil zero to the actual value of the roll bending force when rolling a part on the side of working completion of the precedingly passed coil which is rolled by making a cold-rolling mill pass right before rolling of the coil rolled by using the cold-rolling mill to the amount of change of the 2nd roll bending force for making an error generated by the difference between the estimated values of rolling load on the basis of the respective rolling conditions of the precedingly passed coil and the coil zero, the actual value of the roll bending force of the precedingly passed coil is corrected. By the correction value obtained in this way, the preset value of the roll bending force in the cold-rolling mill is decided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
